Birth of lithography in Portugal

Lithography in Portugal specializes in Packaging
1993.
Micropack begins operations at its current facilities.
From this point on, we can witness the constant growth of the company, sustained not only by the acquisition of new equipment integrated into the production process but also by ongoing training of all its members.
2002.
Acquisition of the new BOBST cutting and creasing machine, enabling high-quality work within competitive deadlines.
2008.
Acquisition of a new ManRoland 900 printing machine, comprising 6 colors plus varnish, offering an unlimited range of printing options, thus ensuring a competitive advantage for Micropack, which translates into a significant added value.
2015.
A second cutting and creasing machine was acquired, which boosted the production process, expanding the company’s capacity in terms of production and response time.
2020.
This year marked not only Micropack but the entire world. The first due to being acquired by a new investor.
The second, because all work processes and the coordination of various organizational entities were adapted to reinvent and adjust to a reality that is so current.
With the promise of growth and revitalization, this new management immediately invested in a new Fujifilm CTP machine, resulting not only in a better response but also in differentiated quality.

2000.
Acquisition of the Plotter; Computer hardware and Impact Software, which were essential for the development of the Structural Design area where the entire production process begins.
2004.
Acquisition of the new laminating machine, which ensured that all work was glued under perfect conditions.
2014.
Acquisition of the new BOBST Visionfold automatic folding machine, which allowed Micropack greater speed throughout the process, as all stages of the process are of utmost importance.
2018.
This was a landmark year for the company, not only for celebrating 25 years at the current location but also for acquiring a new roll cutting machine and an automatic packaging line from Impack.
